It’s been a while since I last shared an outfit post here. One of the reasons being lack of time. In Cancun I had enough time to spare and since my husband and I carried the camera everywhere, we managed to capture shots that will help compose just a few outfit posts. On this particular day we lounged at a beautiful park known as xcaret. For the hot and sunny weather, I wore something light and casual enough to walk around as we explored the area. Swimsuit underneath, of course!

Last weekend we went down to Michigan City to enjoy a day under the sun on Lake Michigan. I probably never had as much fun shooting (both these and the video lookbook) and was even happier after seeing the images we were able to capture.

Wanna see the whole retro-inspired look in action? Wish granted:

This time around I took the afternoon to visit Forte de Copacabana. Another touristy spot in Rio but very worth the hype. The view to the Copacabana beach is kind of surreal and makes me question how in the world could I leave a city that has something like that to look at and reminds me why I keep coming back to visit every year.

It’s not summer yet, no. But I just booked my sunny season stay in Brazil for the next two months and these happen to put me in vacation planning mood. My friend Dani snapped them last May at Prainha, a secluded beach in Rio. This is where I’d go when Ipanema got too crowed for my towel (weekends) and or too boring for my judgment (once in a blue moon). Also to savor unbelievably tasty whole grain banana cake at the kiosks while watching hot surfers hit the water for a change.
