Homemaker

homemaker 1950s 3

Last year we decided for the first time we’d do Christmas cards. As you can see, we had fun shooting and yes, the pecan pie went straight into the bellies once the clicks were done. And since I had only shared a couple of shots from this 1950’s inspired shoot, I figured, why show more? It’s my favorite anyways!

Breakfast At Tiffany’s

If  you didn’t know what to wear for Hallowen, here’s an idea! Make some good use out of the most classic and reliable piece in your closet, the little black dress and go Audrey Hepburn!

And how I put together my Breakfast at Tiffany’s costume? Here:

Gogo Vintage little black dress, party city gloves, vintage sunglasses, christian louboutin shoes, pearl necklace purchased in Brazil, and a donut bun. Happy Halloween!

Last weekend we went down to Michigan City to enjoy a day under the sun on Lake Michigan. I probably never had as much fun shooting (both these and the video lookbook) and was even happier after seeing the images we were able to capture.

Wanna see the whole retro-inspired look in action? Wish granted:

Retro Beachwear

Today’s outfit is one of my favorites I’ve posted here on the blog (more so than the first video lookbook) I’ve been promising myself a retro inspired halter one-piece swimsuit like the one seen in this video lookbook for ages now.

But adding to the sad truth I’ve put on a few pounds I had no excuse but to cheer myself up with something cute that would flatter my body, give me confidence (even though I’m not in my ideal shape) and enjoy some compliments from other ladies at the beach. Heck yeah who wouldn’t? Anyone interested in purchasing this piece should be warned: sizes run extremely small so make sure you go at least two sizes up when ordering. Stay tuned for the outfit post that will follow!
